Gennadiy Daych has extensive work experience in internal audit, compliance, and risk management. Gennadiy most recently served as the Director of Internal Audit at L.A. Care Health Plan, where they developed and implemented effective plans to improve business operations and remediate potential risks. Prior to that, they were the Chief Compliance Officer at iHMP, where they prepared for SOC 2 Type I/II audits and implemented policies and controls for privacy, security, and confidentiality. Gennadiy also held positions such as Director of Compliance at IEHP and Senior Director of Compliance at CareAccess MSO, where they oversaw compliance audit and oversight programs and conducted internal audits. Gennadiy has also worked in various teaching roles and held previous positions as a senior internal auditor at Memorial Health Services, Kaiser Permanente, Ernst & Young, LLP, and Anthem. Gennadiy holds certifications in internal audit, risk management, and healthcare compliance and has an MBA.
Gennadiy Daych earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting/Economics from California State University, Northridge from 1997 to 1999. Gennadiy went on to obtain a Master of Business Administration degree in Healthcare Management from the University of Phoenix, completing their studies from 2003 to 2005. In addition to their academic achievements, Gennadiy Daych holds several certifications including Certified Healthcare Internal Audit Professional (CHIAP) from the Association of Healthcare Internal Auditors (AHIA) in 2019, Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in 2013, and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) also from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in 2009.
