Lisbeth Hernandez

Lisbeth Hernandez currently serves as a Community Health Coordinator at L.A. Care Health Plan, focusing on enhancing community health outcomes through outreach and resource coordination. Previously, Lisbeth worked as a Community Wellness Health Educator with the Lawndale Elementary School District, leading initiatives to promote wellness among students and staff. Additional experience includes roles as a Garden & Nutrition Educator, where Lisbeth managed school gardens and taught garden curricula, and as an AHEC Community Health Scholar at the Community Clinic Association of Los Angeles County, facilitating graduate-level student engagement in community health. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Public Health with a concentration in Urban Health Disparities from Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from UCLA.
