Stephen Kimsey

Stephen Kimsey has a solid background in finance and auditing. Stephen started their career as a Staff Auditor in the Missouri State Auditors Office from 1993 to 1994. Stephen then moved on to work as a Supervising Auditor at RSM McGladrey from 1999 to 2000. Following that, they joined Grant Thornton as an Audit Senior Manager, overseeing client engagements in various industries until 2009. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as a Senior Manager at CBIZ MHM, LLC, where they managed multiple client engagements and provided business improvement recommendations. Stephen then served as the Chief Financial Officer at Swisher Acquisition, Inc. from 2010 to 2012 before moving to L.G. Barcus & Sons, where they currently hold the position of Chief Financial Officer.

Stephen Kimsey earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a specialization in Accounting from the University of Central Missouri, which they attended from 1987 to 1991. Stephen then pursued a Master of Accountancy (MA) from the same university, completing it in 1992.
