Paul Pereyda Karayan

Paul Pereyda Karayan has a wealth of experience in the engineering, product management, and strategy fields. Paul began their career in 2008 as an Analyst, Equity Research at Lux Research. In 2009, they joined Serenova as an Associate, and eventually became Manager, Strategy and Analytics and then Product Manager. In 2012, they moved to The Climate Corporation as Lead Product Manager. In 2014, they joined Addepar as Sr. Product Manager and then Infrastructure/Test Engineering. In 2015, they joined Blockspring as Growth/Integrations Engineer. In 2018, they joined PlanGrid as DevOps. In 2019, they joined Primer.ai as Primate, Irregular Engineering as Co-Founder and Principal Engineer, and Ashpool VC as Co-Founder and Managing Director. Currently, they are working at Opto Investments as Engineering & Management.

Paul Pereyda Karayan began their education at Duke University, where they earned an A.B. in Chemistry from 2002 to 2006. Paul then went on to the University of California, Berkeley, where they earned an M.S. in Organic/Physical Organic Chemistry from 2006 to 2008. Paul is currently attending the University of California, Berkeley, but has not yet earned a degree.
