Kamau John

Kamau John has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as an Accountant/Operations at Walokana MP Coop Society from 2014 to 2016. In this position, they were responsible for fuel stock analysis, financial reporting, and assisting in decision making.

Kamau then worked as a Market Research Analyst at demart technologies from June 2017 to December 2017, where they conducted research, analyzed data, and provided recommendations to clients.

Next, Kamau joined Cytonn Investments as an Innovation Assistant from February 2018 to July 2018. Kamau'sresponsibilities included applying advanced innovation practices through research and hands-on experience.

In 2018, they also worked as a Data Associate at umati capital, where they contributed to data-related tasks and projects.

In 2019, Kamau joined L-IFT as a Data Expert and later became the Data Team Lead in November 2020. At L-IFT, they utilized their expertise in data analysis and leadership skills to drive team performance and deliver high-quality results.

More recently, in 2020, Kamau co-founded Aesops Data, where they are involved in the strategic development of the company's data operations.

Kamau John holds a Master's degree in Data Analytics from KCA University, which they obtained from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, they attended Moringa School in 2019 to study Data Science. Kamau completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Nairobi from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics with a focus on Business/Managerial Economics. Before university, they completed their KCSE at Kijabe Boys in 2007 and their KCPE at Kirangari Primary School from 1996 to 2003.
