Matt Lawson

Matt Lawson is a seasoned innovation expert with extensive experience in leading and consulting for various organizations. As the Founder and CEO of Downstream Innovation since November 2017, Lawson has been instrumental in providing innovation services and consultancy. Currently serving as an Internal Innovation Specialist at L Marks and an Innovation Partner at Cambridge Management Consulting, Lawson's focus includes developing corporate innovation capabilities and leading innovation practices. Additionally, contributions to the Cambridge Judge Business School as a coach and speaker, and program management for ARuVR's partnership with City University further highlight Lawson's commitment to fostering innovation. Prior roles at BT included Director of Applied Innovation and Head of Applied Technology Centre, where substantial advancements in product and service innovation were achieved. Lawson's educational background includes a Master's in Physics from Durham University and a Master's in Telecommunications from Imperial College London.
