Brian Bird

Brian Bird is a seasoned professional in emergency services with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Heavy Rescue Specialist at L.N. Curtis & Sons since January 2018, Brian Bird focuses on consulting and educating First Responders on advanced rescue tools. Prior experience includes various roles at the City of Santa Fe Fire Department, culminating as Acting Battalion Chief, and serving as a Rescue and Medical Specialist with FEMA. Brian Bird has also contributed to community initiatives as a Volunteer Event Organizer for the St. Baldrick's Foundation and developed skills as a Flight Paramedic at the University of New Mexico Hospital. With a background that includes serving as Fire Chief at Moriarty Fire Department and a Paramedic with Albuquerque Ambulance Service, Brian Bird holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in EMS Management and Fire Science from Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell Campus.
