Andrew Thomas is currently the Head of Software Engineering at L3Harris Technologies since 2024. Previously, they served as a Sub-Section & Technical Manager and Senior Staff Engineer at GE Aerospace, contributing to strategic activities and leading software teams for civil aircraft power controllers. Andrew began their career as a Software Engineer at Smiths Aerospace and GE Aviation Systems, where they worked on real-time, safety-critical embedded aviation power software. They earned a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, in 2002.
