Richard Desalvo

Richard DeSalvo is a Senior Research Scientist at L3Harris Technologies, where Richard has been working since July 2019. Prior to that, Richard held the position of Senior Scientist at Harris Corporation since April 2004. Before that, Richard was a Senior Scientist at JDS Uniphase from January 2001 to June 2003. Richard's expertise lies in being the primary technical contact for Tier 1 and 2 customers, ensuring proper design and implementation of active and passive components and sub-systems into customer's lightwave systems. Richard has also provided systems-level analysis developing target performance specifications. Prior to their current roles, Richard served as a Principal Engineer at Harris Corporation from August 1993 to January 2001.
