Eddy M Virgen

Eddy M Virgen is an experienced public health professional with a focus on data analysis and epidemiology. Currently serving as a Data Analyst Intern at the University of Colorado Division of Hospital Medicine, Eddy assists with study design, data cleaning, and manuscript preparation while collaborating with Principal Investigators. Previously, as a COVID-19 Epidemiologist and Case Investigator at Tri-County Health Department, Eddy investigated outbreaks and conducted case investigations to mitigate the spread of the virus. Eddy also worked as a Research Assistant for the Nevada Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program, fostering partnerships to enhance awareness and screening for lead poisoning. Eddy holds a Master of Public Health in Applied Biostatistics from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.
