Leo Barajas, MPA, currently serves as a Human Resource Management Analyst with the Return-to-Work Unit at the County of Los Angeles, Department of Parks and Recreation, where responsibilities include acting as a Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and American with Disabilities Act (ADA) Coordinator, as well as serving as the liaison for the Occupational Health Program. Previously held positions include Recreation Services Manager, where support was provided for the Award Winning Parks After Dark (PAD) program, and Area Pool Supervisor, overseeing aquatic programs and operations. Leo Barajas has also worked as a Quality Control Technician with Pacifica Foods/Apex Life Sciences, and as a Lab Technician at Cacique, Inc., among other roles in quality assurance. Educational achievements include a Master's in Public Administration from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona and ongoing doctoral studies in Public Administration at the University of La Verne.
