La Fageda
La Fageda is a social project that was born with the aim of improving life and promoting the socio-labor integration of people in vulnerable situations in the Garrotxa region. To achieve its mission, it uses a powerful business structure that has consolidated and given notoriety to a brand thanks to the quality of its products (yoghurts, desserts, ice creams and jams). It also has a cow farm, a gardening section and a visitor service. La Fageda attends to the person as a whole, providing different social services: occupational therapy, housing with assisted flats and support in one's own home, specialized care and insertion in the ordinary company and in the community. La Fageda, created in 1982, is located on the 15 ha Mas Els Casals estate, in the middle of the Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park.
