Chris R.

Chris R. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. They began their career as an Operations Manager, Automotive Repair Technician, and Foreman at Irvine Chevron from 1996 to 2001. During this time, they were responsible for various tasks such as managing budgets, payroll, and accounts, as well as working on and repairing vehicles.

From 2002 to 2004, Chris R. worked as a Foreman and Job Site Manager at REICON, where they supervised construction job sites, managed heavy equipment operations, and handled administrative duties.

In 2004, Chris R. joined Lowe's Home Improvement as a Loss Prevention/Assistant Manager until 2005, focusing on maintaining store security and assisting with management tasks.

Their career in the hospitality industry began in 2009 when they joined Montage Hotels & Resorts as a Security Supervisor and Lead Investigator. Over the years, they took on increasing responsibilities, including roles as Security Manager, Security Director, and Director of Security. In these positions, they oversaw the safety and security of guests, associates, and visitors, managed security teams, and implemented safety protocols.

In 2015, Chris R. briefly served as the Chief Engineer at Montage International, where they were responsible for the maintenance and operation of the hotel and residential components.

They returned to Montage Hotels & Resorts in 2019 as the Director of Engineering and Security until 2022. In this role, they handled capital expenditure execution, managed budgets and expenses, and collaborated with various entities, such as the City of Laguna Beach.

In 2022, Chris R. joined La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club, Inc. as the Director of Engineering, further showcasing their expertise in engineering and management.

In 2009, Chris R. attended the CIA Investigation Academy and received a certification as a Private Investigator.

In 2010, Chris R. attended the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology for courses in Incident Response to Terrorist Bombings and Prevention and Response to Suicide Bombing Incidents.

In 2011, Chris R. attended the Insurance Educational Institute and received a certificate in Insurance Fraud - Identifying and Investigating Suspect Claims. Chris R. also attended the Joint Critical Infrastructure Partnership Symposium and obtained a certificate from AB 1825 Harassment Prevention in the Workplace and HR Essentials courses at Montage.

In 2012, Chris R. participated in the FBI & Infraguard program and became an Infrastructure Liason Officer, with a focus on Terrorism and Counterterrorism Operations. Chris R. also attended Montage Leadership Training Class and received a certificate in Organizational Leadership. Additionally, Chris R. completed a program in Accounting and Finance at Montage.
