Abbee Phillips

Abbee Phillips has extensive work experience in talent development, executive recruitment, and consulting within the retail, consumer, and private equity industries. Abbee is currently the Vice President of Talent Development at La Jolla Group, a position they have held since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at JM Search as a Partner in the Retail and Consumer practice, where they specialized in recruiting senior-level executives for various sectors. Abbee also played a key role as one of the Founding Partners of the Cannabis Practice at JM Search. Before joining JM Search, they worked at Korn Ferry International as a Client Partner, and at The Landstone Group as a Managing Associate. Abbee began their career as a Retail Sales Associate at Limited Brands.

Abbee Phillips obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from the University of Delaware, where they studied from 1987 to 1991. Abbee then pursued further education and completed a Master's degree (MA) in Organizational Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University, which they attended from 1991 to 1993.
