Ginny Chacos

Ginny Chacos is an accomplished advancement officer with extensive experience in major gifts and development within the nonprofit sector. Currently serving as an Advancement Officer for the La Jolla Institute for Immunology since September 2025, Ginny previously held the position of Major Gifts Officer and Development Specialist at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies from April 2018 to September 2025. Prior roles include Logistics Manager at Storm Lacrosse Tournaments, Director of Operations - West Coast at TEAM Lacrosse Academy, and Program and Events Manager at the Epilepsy Foundation San Diego County. Ginny's career also includes positions such as Scheduling Coordinator at LOT Management and Office Coordinator at Gatlin Development, along with a background in design at Sandy Reagan and Associates. Ginny Chacos holds a B.A. in Spanish from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and has participated in a summer study abroad program in Quito, Ecuador, through Alma College.
