Cara Riek Dnp

Cara Riek DNP, RN, FNP-BC, IBCLC, DABLS, FAANP has extensive experience in maternal and child health, currently serving as the Owner and Family Nurse Practitioner at Arizona Breastfeeding Medicine and Wellness since January 2017. Cara has developed educational modules for healthcare providers through a DNP project with Lactation Education for Healthcare Providers since July 2015 and leads breastfeeding support groups for new mothers with La Leche League International since April 2013. Previous roles include providing dyad care as a Family Nurse Practitioner and IBCLC at Central Arizona Lactation, running vaccination clinics as a Community Care Nurse with Mollen Immunization Clinics, and teaching Algebra at Sierra Vista Public Schools. Educational achievements include a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Arizona State University and a Bachelor's in Biology from Lawrence University.
