Laure Chotel is currently engaged as an EUPATI trainee in the Patient Expert Training Programme since October 2022, and serves on the Patients' Committee for Clinical Research at the French Cancer League. Additionally, involvement includes membership in the association "Mon réseau® cancer colorectal," patient advocacy roles with ESMO and COLONTOWN, and administration of French and European groups within COLONTOWN. Previously, Laure worked as a Pedagogical Engineer at Université de Lorraine and as a Training Manager for French as a Foreign Language at Institut Mines-Télécom Business School, focusing on teaching, research, and educational project management. Laure holds a PhD in Second Language Acquisition and New Technologies, alongside multiple master's degrees from Université Grenoble Alpes, and a master's degree in Communication from CELSA Paris-Sorbonne. Early educational steps included a bachelor's degree in Spanish from Université de Lorraine and preparatory classes at Lycée Henri Poincaré.

Créée en 1918, la Ligue contre le cancer est une association loi 1901 reconnue d’utilité publique reposant sur la générosité du public et sur l’engagement de ses bénévoles et salariés pour répondre aux besoins des personnes concernées par le cancer. Notre fédération, composée de 103 Comités départementaux présents sur tout le territoire national, est apolitique et indépendante financièrement.
