Matthieu Acar

Matthieu Acar currently serves as Responsable de production at Version Française Whisky since December 2020, overseeing the identification, selection, and aging of unique casks from various French artisanal distilleries, along with managing operational aspects of the cellar, quality control, and maturation monitoring. Concurrently, Matthieu holds the positions of Responsable Retail and Responsable boutique at La Maison du Whisky - LMDW, beginning in August 2015. As a co-founder of whisky-francais.com since April 2016, Matthieu has also contributed as an author for the book "Une brève mais intense histoire du whisky français" during a tenure at La Maison du Whisky et Flammarion from November 2022 to March 2023. Earlier experience includes working as a web developer as an auto-entrepreneur from February 2011 to February 2015.
