Janet Nellys Josa

Janet Nellys Josa has a diverse work experience in the education sector, starting as a P.E. teacher in 2014 and progressing to various teaching roles, including 5th Grade Span/Eng Dual Immersion Teacher and Principal positions in different school districts. Janet Nellys also pursued a Preliminary Administrative Services Credential and worked on curriculum development before joining the San Diego County Office of Education's CASC Program in 2022. Janet is known for their dedication to cultural proficiency and community building in educational settings.

Janet Nellys Josa completed their Associate of Arts degree in General Education at Cochise College from 2000 to 2002. Janet Nellys then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and Teaching (K-8) at the University of Arizona from 2002 to 2004. Following that, they earned a Master of Arts in Teaching and Learning- Special Education from Liberty University between 2012 and 2014. Most recently, they obtained a Preliminary Administrative Services Credential in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from the San Diego County Office of Education from 2018 to 2020.
