Melynda Pezone has a diverse work experience in the field of education. Melynda began their career as an Administrative Intern at Williamsville Central Schools before transitioning to roles as an Itinerant Music Teacher at Orleans/Niagara BOCES and a Music Teacher at Darnall Charter School. Melynda then served as Vice Principal at Santee School District, where they also took on roles as Interim Principal and Principal for Summer School. Currently, they are a School Principal at La Mesa-Spring Valley School District. Throughout their career, Melynda has shown strong leadership skills and a commitment to student success.
Melynda Pezone completed a Bachelor's degree in Music Education at Baldwin Wallace University in 2008. Melynda then pursued a Master of Education (M.Ed.) with a focus on Music Education at the University at Buffalo from 2009 to 2010. Subsequently, they obtained a second Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration at the University at Buffalo from 2012 to 2014. In 2014, they also earned the NYS School Building Leader (SBL) Certification and NYS School District Leader (SDL) Certification. In 2015, they obtained the Administrative Services California Teaching Credential. Additionally, in 2008, they received the Professional Teacher Certification in Music B - 12 from the New York State Education Department.
