Eloy Sanz

Eloy Sanz is an experienced environmental policy expert currently serving as Subdirector de Políticas Medioambientales at La Moncloa since January 2024. Concurrently, Sanz has been an Associate Professor and Lecturer at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos since January 2015, with prior roles as Assistant Professor from September 2006 to June 2014. Sanz has contributed to research as a visiting researcher at Università degli Studi di Torino in July 2022 and July 2023, and held a postdoctoral researcher position at Georgia Institute of Technology from July to December 2014. Sanz earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, following a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering obtained from the same institution between 2001 and 2006.
