Bernard Horenbeek

Bernard Horenbeek has extensive experience in the fields of ethical finance and social services. Currently serving as President du Directoire and Directeur délégué at La Nef - Société financière since July 2017, Bernard also contributes as a board member at FEBEA - Fédération Européenne des banques éthiques et alternatives since 2009, having previously held the position of Vice-President. From May 2015 to December 2017, Bernard was President of SEFEA sc, a cooperative focused on alternative financing in Italy. Prior roles include Directeur général at CREDAL, a cooperative for alternative and solidarity finance in Belgium, and various advisory and leadership positions within the Brussels government, particularly in social affairs and poverty alleviation. Bernard's early career included teaching psychology and directing non-profit organizations. Bernard holds a Master’s degree in Psychological and Pedagogical Sciences from Université libre de Bruxelles.
