Nicolas Emeriau

Nicolas Emeriau has a diverse work experience in various roles related to data management and IT. Currently, they are working at La Poste Groupe as a Big Data Project Director, responsible for managing and coordinating big data projects for multiple business entities. Prior to this, they were a Data Consulting Project Manager at Pramana, where they designed and constructed a Data Governance Operating Framework and assisted with the implementation of data capability tools. Nicolas also served as the Head of Data Management at Neptune Energy, where they designed a Data Governance Framework and ensured data availability, security, integrity, and regulatory compliance. Additionally, Nicolas worked at ENGIE E&P, where they held various positions, including Project Leader of Data Management, Head of Subsurface Data Management Section at Head Office, and IT Manager for the Geosciences group. Nicolas started their career as an IT Consultant at Sogeti and later worked as an Application Manager at Veolia - Activité Eau France. Nicolas also served as an IT Consultant at Stilog IST.

Nicolas Emeriau holds a Master's degree in Applied Geophysics from Pierre and Marie Curie University, which they obtained from 1994 to 1999. Nicolas also has a Master's degree in Information Technology applied to Geosciences from the same university, earned between 2000 and 2001. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have obtained several certifications, including being a Certified Safe 5 Agilist by Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2022 and a Professional Scrum Master 1 by Scrum.org in 2021. Nicolas also holds certifications in AgilePM® Foundation, CDMP Fundamentals, Certification SAFe® DevOps Practitioner, and Informatica Data Quality tool.
