Carla Yorke

Carla Yorke is the Chief Program Officer at LA Promise Fund. Carla has over 14 years of experience in higher education and has been instrumental in helping students succeed in college. Carla was previously the Dual Enrollment Manager at Cerritos College where they assisted high school students in receiving college credits while still in high school. Carla also coordinated and implemented "Cerritos Complete", the college's initiative in student completion. In addition, they managed the President's Middle College Scholars program, a cohort based program of selected high school students taking college courses. Carla is a co-founder of TRUTH entertainment and the founder of The Ripple Effect.

Carla Yorke has a Masters in Education from the University of Southern California. Carla also has a certification from California State University, Los Angeles in Dual Enrollment: Preparing Community College Instructors to Teach High School Students. Carla is also certified from The African American Board Leadership Institute in Certificate of Completion - Board Leadership Program.
