Jade Stevens

Jade Stevens is currently the Director of Communications at the LA Promise Fund. Prior to that, they worked as a Brand Manager at Heali from September 2019 to May 2020. In their role at Heali, Jade was responsible for developing and overseeing the execution of communications strategy and messaging for all of the Assemblymember's activity. Additionally, they managed and coordinated all media activities, including social media, and advised the Assemblymember on other forms of constituent communications.

Some of Jade's highlights from their time at Heali include launching the first Twitter account for the California State Assembly Committee on Revenue and Taxation and increasing positive media coverage by 300% over a 12-month period, securing media coverage among targeted outlets including Huffington Post, New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles Daily News, LA Weekly, Sacramento Bee and Bloomberg BNA, and designing and placing print and digital advertisement for 10 district events which they exceeded expected attendance goals for each event.

Jade is known for their ability to collaborate effectively with the Assemblymember, senior management and legislative teams to publish original content across five social media accounts, official website and bi-monthly newsletter. Jade has increased awareness and engagement among constituencies and various stakeholders by 3%.

Jade Stevens has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Southern California - Marshall School of Business in Marketing/Marketing Management, General. Jade also has a BS from California State University-Dominguez Hills in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations and a minor in Advertising. Jade is certified in International Business from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management.
