Justin Shahbaz

Justin Shahbaz is the current principal of the Russell Westbrook at LA Promise Fund. Justin has held this position since August 2020. Prior to this, they were an assistant principal at Alliance Gertz-Ressler Richard Merkin 6-12 Complex from July 2014 to August 2020. Before that, they were an educator at Alliance for College Ready Public Schools from April 2007 to June 2014, where they taught 8th grade mathematics (Algebra and Geometry). Justin also worked as a substitute teacher at Garden Grove Unified School District from March 2006 to March 2007 and as a tutor at Sylvan Learning Centers from March 2006 to March 2007.

Justin Shahbaz has a MA in Education from the University of Southern California and a BA in International Relations from the same school.
