Melissa Chalus

Melissa Chalus has a diverse work experience in the field of communications and media relations. Melissa is currently the Director of Communications and Media Relations at La Rabida Children's Hospital. Prior to that, they worked as a Freelance Marketing Consultant and as the Director of External Communications at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago. Melissa also served as the Senior Vice President, Head of PR at MM+CO and as a Senior Account Director, Consumer Team Lead at Henson Consulting Inc. Additionally, Melissa has worked at Weber Shandwick as a Group Manager, at M&P Food Communications as an Account Supervisor, at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Marketing Project Coordinator, at Fleishman-Hillard, Inc. as a Senior Account Executive, and at Ketchum as an Account Executive. Throughout their career, they have gained experience in relationship management, communications strategy development, media engagement, and event planning.

Melissa Chalus attended The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business from 1998 to 2002, where they earned their BBA degree in Marketing. During the same period, they also studied at the University of Iowa and obtained a BA degree in Communication Studies.
