Ernesto Assante

Ernesto Assante is an accomplished music educator and critic with extensive experience in various prestigious roles. Currently teaching at Conservatorio di Milano and serving as a professor at Saint Louis College of Music, Assante also acts as Artistic Director for both Pugliasounds and Collisioni Festival. In addition to lecturing at Auditorium Parco della Musica, Assante has a longstanding role as a music critic for La Repubblica, contributing to multiple web shows and podcasts. With a career as a book writer since 1981, notable works include titles focused on rock and reggae music. Formerly an author for Rai TV and host of a weekly radio show on Radio Capital, Assante's educational background includes studies at Sapienza Università di Roma and XXV Liceo Sperimentale.
