Project Coordinator - Urban Biodiversity at LA Sanitation & Environment

Isaac Brown, D.Env., is an accomplished environmental scientist and educator with extensive experience in sustainability, green infrastructure, and land planning. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Stillwater Sciences and as Adjunct Faculty at the University of Southern California, Brown also manages urban biodiversity projects at LA Sanitation & Environment and runs the Isaac Brown Ecology Studio, providing award-winning services worldwide. Previous roles include teaching faculty in Urban Ecology at Loyola Marymount University, Senior Environmental Specialist at the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority, and Director of Conservation Planning at Coastal Management Resources. Brown holds a Doctorate in Environmental Science and Engineering from UCLA, a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor's degree in Natural Resource Ecology and Management from the University of Michigan.
