Jason Patrick Reid

Jason Patrick Reid, EIT, currently serves as an Environmental Engineering Associate I at LA Sanitation & Environment since August 2022. Previously, Jason held the position of Engineering Student Researcher at Humboldt State University, where analysis of tabular datasets was conducted to explore correlations between instructor-led study sessions and student performance in engineering courses. Jason also contributed to a publication in the American Society for Engineering Education Journal and mentored students in the Environmental Resources Engineering Program. Additional experience includes evaluating lawn conversion options for the Humboldt Energy Independence Fund, serving as a Student Grader, and conducting research on antibiotic-resistant genes during an internship at the University of California. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Resource Engineering from Humboldt State University, completed in 2022, following education at Santa Monica College.
