Beth Hager is a seasoned educator with extensive experience in special education and literacy instruction. Currently serving as a Reading Specialist and Literacy Teacher at the Lab School of Washington since August 2021, Beth previously held the position of Clinical Assistant Professor at The Catholic University of America, where responsibilities included coordinating the Graduate Special Education Program and teaching various courses related to language and literacy for diverse readers. Additional roles include instructional strategist at Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart, teaching faculty at George Mason University, and instructional coach at the Urban Teacher Center. Beth's educational background includes a PhD in Special Education and Teaching from the University of Maryland and a Master of Education in Special Education from Montclair State University.
