Tracey Thompson

Tracey Thompson is an accomplished design professional with over 20 years of experience in customer-centered design and product development. As the Director of Design at Lab Zero Innovations Inc. from March 2010 to May 2024, Tracey built and led design organizations, facilitating collaboration across functions and enhancing discovery processes. Prior roles include Senior Product Designer, responsible for creating human-centered products for numerous clients, and a Communication Design Consultant at IDEO, where human-centered analog tools were developed for the healthcare sector. Tracey has also worked as a Designer for Glencoe/McGraw-Hill and as a Design Consultant for various clients, showcasing a strong ability in branding and educational materials. Tracey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Design and Visual Communications from Carnegie Mellon University and has experience as an intern in environmental graphics.
