Ken Olofsen has a comprehensive work experience in marketing and strategic roles.
Starting in 1997, Olofsen worked as a Technology Consultant at Andersen Consulting. Ken then joined Plumtree Software, Inc. in 2000 as an Implementation Manager.
In 2003, Olofsen joined BEA Systems, Inc. where they served in various roles including Senior Technical Account Manager and Director of Global Strategy & Operations for BID Services. During their time at BEA Systems, they devised solutions roadmap for high-value services offerings within the AquaLogic product line and directed services marketing efforts.
In 2008, Olofsen moved to Atlassian where they held multiple roles, including Group Product Marketing Manager for JIRA and Developer Tools, and later as the Director of Marketing for Enterprise and Portfolio Marketing. Ken led go-to-market activities for the Jira product family and implemented licensing programs to drive top-of-funnel leads and product usage. Additionally, they managed the go-to-market strategy for Atlassian's Enterprise products and solutions.
Olofsen continued their career at Runnable in 2016 as the Co-CEO & President and later as the President & COO, providing executive leadership to the company.
In 2018, Olofsen worked as the VP of Marketing at Semmle, followed by a role as Vice President of Marketing at Mattermost in 2020.
From 2017 to 2021, Olofsen served as an Advisor at DuroLabs.co, providing strategic guidance and support.
Most recently, in 2020, Olofsen worked as a Fractional CMO, offering strategic and tactical services to early-stage software companies targeting technical buyers. Ken assisted companies in optimizing their go-to-market strategies and building high-growth marketing teams.
In 2023, Olofsen joined Labelbox as the Chief Marketing Officer, leading marketing initiatives for the company.
Ken Olofsen earned their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of the Pacific, completing their education from 1993 to 1997.
