Chargé De Mission For Collaborative Projects And Industrial Research at Laboratoire Bordelais de Recherche en Informatique (LaBRI)

Serge Chaumette is an experienced professional currently serving as a Réserviste in the Réseau des référents cybermenaces at Police nationale and as a Mentor at 1Kubator. In addition to these roles, Serge holds the position of Directeur Scientifique at IcarusSwarms and is actively involved with the Laboratoire Bordelais de Recherche en Informatique (LaBRI) since 1992, where responsibilities include Chargé de mission for collaborative projects, Professor, and leading the Languages, Systems and Networks research group, as well as the Mobility, Ubiquity, Security subgroup. Serge has been a member of the Strategic Committee on Drones and New Usages at Aerospace Valley since November 2019 and heads the Ingénierie de l'Informatique program at Université de Bordeaux. Furthermore, Serge has co-founded NFC-i and serves as VP Innovation. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Computer Science from Université de Bordeaux and an extensive academic background in computer science, culminating in a DUT Informatique.
