Nuno Fiuza de Barros

Nuno Fiuza de Barros is a distinguished researcher in the field of Neutrino Physics, currently serving as an Assistant Researcher at the Laboratório de Instrumentação e Física Experimental de Partículas since May 2019, and as an Invited Assistant Professor at the University of Coimbra since September 2021. Nuno has contributed significantly to high-profile projects such as the SNO+ and DUNE experiments. Previous roles include postdoctoral researcher positions at the University of Pennsylvania and TU Dresden, a PhD grantholder at the Laboratório de Instrumentação e Física Experimental de Partículas, and an associate role with the ATLAS Project at CERN. Nuno's academic foundation was established with a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics and an Engineering degree in Physics from the University of Lisbon.
