Christopher Presley (Entrepreneur)

Christopher Presley is a Co-Founder and Full-Stack Software Engineer at Labs Companies, Inc (branded and doing business as Labs). In this role, he is responsible for collaborating with engineering teams, working alongside the CTO and VP of Engineering, to ensure the successful execution of technology strategies that empower Labs to fulfill itsmission of “helping build communities and advancing human capabilities.” His work aims to connect billions of people around the world through the Labs “Family of Companies, Brands, Jobs and Initiatives,” contributing to significant advancements in consumer tech, DNA computing, biotech, artificial intelligence, and various other cutting-edge fields, including virtual, augmented, and mixed-reality, as well as machine learning across the company's seven labs.

Before joining Labs, Chris served as a work-for-hire developer and consultant, where he played a pivotal role in guiding boutique companies through global and open product development processes. With a comprehensive full-stack skill set, he has written back-end and front-end code across over 19 programming languages on multiple platforms, including Swift/iOS, Xcode, Java, Kotlin, Python, Perl, BASH, PCRE, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, PHP, MySQL, LAMP Stack, T-SQL, C#, MS Visual Studio, Visual Basic, ASP.NET, .NET Core, JSON, Node.JS, C++, Rust, AWS EC2, CentOS, and Red Hat Linux server administration. His diverse technical expertise earned him recognition as a distinguished engineer globally during his tenure as an implementation consultant and private contractor.

Chris began his career at the age of sixteen at Oak Park High School (in suburban Detroit) and CASA (Center for Advanced Studies and the Arts), where he took Advanced Placement Computer Science with a focus on Java. Beyond his technical prowess, he is also a screenwriter, artist, painter, and creative poet, and the Founding Managing Partner of Fate Ventures, an early stage vc firm and Outsize Entertainment, a media production studio and entertainment company.
