John Turner

John Turner is currently a Senior Security Architect at Lacework. Prior to that, they were at Facebook for 10 years, most recently as Director of Web Foundation and Site Reliability. At Facebook, John also founded the data compression team, worked on the infra powering databases and caching architecture, developed and deployed the asynchronous MySQL library powering all Facebook MySQL queries, helped design, implement, and improve most major components in Facebook's cloud infrastructure and the distributed systems that use them, supported the Continuous Integration system and improved developer infrastructure, and scaled the Python infrastructure.

John Turner reports to David Hatfield, Co-Chief Executive Officer. Some of their coworkers include Mike Staiger - Chief Financial Officer, Brian Lanigan - Global Channel Chief, and Lindsay Folk - Chief Learning Officer.
