Richard Berg

Richard Berg has extensive experience in intellectual property law, particularly in the field of patent applications. Currently serving as Of Counsel at Ladas & Parry since May 2007, Richard focuses on writing and prosecuting patents in materials science, semiconductors, metamaterials, MEMS devices, radar technologies, RF countermeasures, optical circuits, and laser technologies. Prior to this role, Richard was a Partner at Ladas & Parry from April 1981 to 2007, leading the Los Angeles office and continuing to work with select clients as semi-retired. Richard began a legal career as a Patent Attorney at ITT and Texas Instruments, specializing in infringement opinions and radar technologies. Richard holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Diego School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California.
