Sahana Pirashaanth

Sahana Pirashaanth currently serves as a Pharmacovigilance Officer at Lægemiddelstyrelsen (Danish Medicines Agency) since June 2024. Previously, Sahana worked as a Market Access Consultant at Molecule Consultancy from January 2022 to September 2023 and as a Pharmaceutical Specialist at Sygehusapoteket, Region Nordjylland from August 2020 to December 2021, where systematic literature reviews were conducted to investigate the shelf-life extension of intravenous antibiotics. Sahana also contributed to collaborative initiatives with hospital pharmacies in Denmark. Earlier experience includes a role as a Studentermedhjælper at Wickstrøm & Langkilde ApS, focusing on literature searches and health economic evaluations, and as a Student Assistant at Kirurgisk Klinik Nord, supporting clinical tasks and patient care from September 2017 to February 2020. Sahana holds a Master’s degree in Medicine with a specialization in Medical Market Access and a Bachelor's degree from Aalborg University.
