Matt Parish has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Matt is currently the Director of Creative Operations at Laetro, where they oversee operations and processes for a creative platform and community. In their previous role as Creative Director at Lonely Planet, Matt won business and launched global content campaigns while leading the Client Solutions creative team. Matt also developed and launched internal commercial strategy and products, built a team of writers, strategists, designers, and editors, and managed large-scale branded content campaigns. Matt has also worked as a Content Producer at Lonely Planet, overseeing international editorial projects and leveraging travel products for content marketing partnerships with global companies. Prior to that, they were an Editor at Timeless Communications and a Media Director and Producer for various clients as a self-employed individual. Matt's other roles include Media Rep at Ariel Artists, Managing Editor at Performer Magazine, Contributing Writer at Boston's Weekly Dig, and Development Assistant at Historic New England. Matt began their career as an IP Administrative Assistant at Foley Hoag LLP and a Feature Writer/Correspondent at The Lima News.
Matt Parish attended Boston University from 1997 to 2001, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism with a minor in Political Science. In addition, they obtained a certification in "Manage Projects in Slack" from Slack in December 2021.
