Shanta Bantia

Shanta Bantia, the Co-Founder and CSO at Laevoroc Immunology, has a vast background in drug discovery and translational biology. With over 25 years of experience, Shanta has been involved in the development of PNP inhibitors and small molecule immune modulators for cancer and autoimmune diseases. Previously, Shanta held positions at Nitor Therapeutics and BioCryst Pharmaceuticals, where Shanta played a key role in preclinical biology, clinical development, and regulatory interactions. Shanta's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
