Head, Sustainable Development And Corporate Brand at Lafarge Africa

Titilope Oguntuga has extensive work experience in sustainable development, corporate brand management, and corporate social responsibility (CSR).

From 2019 to the present, they have served as the Head of Sustainable Development and Corporate Brand at Lafarge Africa Plc. In this role, they lead social interventions related to education, empowerment, health and safety, vocational training, and human rights. Titilope has implemented the Sustainable Development Strategy in alignment with the Holcim Group's Sustainability Ambitions and Strategy. Titilope has facilitated knowledge-sharing sessions and collaborated with international thought leaders to discuss action for the Sustainable Development Goals. Titilope has also represented the organization in contributing to Nigeria's Voluntary National Review to the United Nations.

Prior to their current role, Titilope worked as the Regional Manager of Public Affairs, CSR, and Communications at Lafarge Africa Plc from 2015 to 2019. Titilope managed and implemented the CSR and Public Affairs Strategy for the South West Region, ensuring effective relationships with host communities and other stakeholders. Notably, they initiated and facilitated the signing of CSR Memorandums of Understanding with host communities in the region.

Earlier in their career, Titilope was the Marketing, Brand & Corporate Communications Manager at A.R.M Life, where they introduced and implemented CSR programs for the entire ARM Group. Titilope also successfully facilitated a brand name change for one of Nigeria's largest financial services institutions.

Titilope's previous experience includes roles such as Head of Brand Management at Mooreadvice, Assistant Manager in the Brand Development Group at USP Brand Management Consultants, and Relationship Officer at Assured Investments & Securities.

Titilope Oguntuga completed an Executive Education program in Creating Shared Value - Competitive Advantage Through Social Impact at Harvard Business School in 2019. In 2015, they obtained a Chartered Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing UK. Titilope became an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management in 2011. Titilope also holds an MBA in Marketing from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, which they completed in 2009.
