Amit Agarwal

Amit Agarwal currently serves as the Commercial Director at LafargeHolcim Bangladesh Limited, a position held since March 2023. Previously, Amit was the President & Director of Sales (North) at Ambuja Cements Ltd. from October 2019 to November 2022. Prior to that, from May 2018 to September 2019, Amit headed the TMT & Wire Rods SBU at Jindal Steel & Power Ltd., overseeing a portfolio with an annual turnover of approximately INR 8000 crores. Amit’s extensive career at Tata Steel spanned from July 1991 to March 2018, during which key roles included Chief Sales Manager for Northern India, marketing head for various branded products, and sales lead for long products. Amit holds a B.Tech degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, and an MBA in Marketing from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
