Elsie Black

Elsie Black has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Elsie currently serves as the Director of Operations at LAFAZA, a position they have held since April 2023. Prior to this, Elsie worked as a Supply Chain Analyst at LAFAZA from June 2022 to July 2023. At NewImpact, they served as a Lead Innovation Consultant from June 2021 to February 2022. Elsie also worked as a Market Development Consultant at iDE (International Development Enterprises) from December 2020 to April 2021. At Intellectual Ventures, Elsie held two roles, including Project Lead for Global Development Technologies, Global Good from May 2018 to July 2020, and Project Coordinator for Global Development Technologies from May 2017 to May 2018. Elsie has a degree in MPS Graduate, International Agriculture and Rural Development from Cornell University, where they studied from August 2014 to August 2016. Elsie gained valuable experience as a Peace Corps Volunteer for Agricultural Production at Catholic Relief Services from June 2013 to June 2014, and as an Agriculture Volunteer in the Peace Corps from March 2011 to June 2014.

Elsie Black completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from Tufts University in 2009. Elsie then pursued further studies at Cornell University Graduate School from 2014 to 2016, and obtained a Master of Professional Studies degree in International Agriculture and Rural Development. Prior to their undergraduate studies, Elsie attended Fountain Valley School of Colorado for their high school education.
