Ogechi Yvonne Obike, ACIBN, MBA, currently serves as a VenCapital Fellow in the Fall Cohort of 2024, focusing on investment opportunity pipelines and market analysis. Ogechi is a member of ForbesBLK, supporting a community of Black entrepreneurs and leaders, and serves as a Non-Executive Board Member at Afiari Inc. and Edugist®. As a Venture Partner/Consultant for the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund, strategic guidance is provided to early-stage startups. Ogechi also participates in the Innovation Scout Program with The FutureList and is a member of Black Ops, a network for African operators. Previously, Ogechi held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Bankly, overseeing various payment systems, and co-founded Payday (Techstars '21), managing global fintech operations. Educational credentials include an Executive MBA from Lagos Business School and multiple master's degrees, including clinical drug development from Queen Mary University of London and medical entomology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF)
The Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (“LSETF” or “the Fund”), was established by The Lagos State Employment Trust Fund Law 2016 to provide financial support to residents of Lagos State, for job, wealth creation and to tackle unemployment. LSETF serves as an instrument to inspire the creative and innovative energies of all Lagos residents and reduce unemployment across the State. The Fund has the mandate to directly invest ₦25Billion in helping Lagos residents grow and scale their Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (“MSMEs”) or acquire skills to get better jobs.
