Marcia Reed

Marcia Reed is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education, training, and fitness. Currently serving as a Certified Fitness Instructor at Lagree Fitness since June 2015, Marcia previously held the position of Donor Services Manager for the Santa Barbara City College Foundation from July 2013 to March 2017. Prior experience includes tenure as Vice President at the Santa Barbara Region Chamber of Commerce, where responsibilities encompassed event planning, graphic design, and public relations from 1993 to May 2012, and as a Corporate Training Officer at County Bank from 1985 to 1991, where course development in bank operations was a primary focus. Marcia's educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from UC Santa Barbara and a Lifetime Teaching Credential in Elementary Education from the College of the Holy Names. A California native, Marcia’s lifelong passion for literature began in high school and continues to enrich personal interests today.
