Dale Best

Dale Best has worked in the creative industry since 1993. Dale began their career as a Designer at Meteor Press, then moved on to Senior Designer roles at Threshold Collective and Gitam BBDO. In 1996, they became a Freelancer, working as a Designer and Art Director. In 2003, they became the Design Director and Owner of Luma Animation. Four years later, they were the Creative Director and Owner of Luma Arcade. From 2016 to 2020, they worked as Chief Creative Officer at Beyond Games, and most recently, they have been the Studio Director JHB at Laguna Games since 2020.

Dale Best attended the University of Texas at Austin from 2005-2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Dale then attended the University of California, Los Angeles from 2008-2011, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Creative Writing.

Dale Best obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Texas at Austin in 2008. Dale then went on to pursue a Master of Arts degree in Creative Writing from the University of California, Los Angeles, which they completed in 2011.
