Amy Hurwitz

Amy Hurwitz is a seasoned recruiting professional with extensive experience in the film and entertainment industry. Currently serving as the Recruiting & Onboarding Lead and previously as a Creative Recruiter at LAIKA Studios since July 2016, Amy has developed expertise in full-cycle recruiting across diverse studio disciplines. Prior to LAIKA, Amy held various leadership roles at the Newport Beach Film Festival, including Director of Volunteers and Director of Interns, where significant organizational and managerial skills were demonstrated. Amy's foundational experiences include roles at Chapman University and the California Film Institute, complemented by a Bachelor's Degree in Film Studies from Chapman University.
