Maria Fery

Maria Fery is a highly skilled professional in the visual effects industry, currently serving as Roto/Paint Lead and Senior Roto/Paint Artist at LAIKA Studios since July 2022, contributing to the project "Wildwood." Previous experience includes roles as Compositor/Rotoscope Artist at Netflix from February 2021 to June 2022, and several positions at Nike, including 3D Footwear Compositor and Photo Editor. Maria has also worked as a Roto/Paint Artist on notable projects such as "Missing Link" and "Kubo and the Two Strings" at LAIKA, LLC. Additional experience includes freelance project coordination and a Marketing Broadcast Intern role with the Portland Trail Blazers. Maria holds a BFA in Visual Effects and Motion Graphics from The Art Institute, earned between 2012 and 2014.
