Poornima Rai

Poornima Rai has been with Laing O'Rourke since October 2004, currently serving as Head of Human Capital for the Middle East business, where strategic people agendas are developed and implemented in alignment with business plans. Previous roles at Laing O'Rourke include Manager of HR, overseeing people development and operational HR activities, and People Development Manager, leading learning and development initiatives for nearly 3000 staff. Earlier experience includes positions as Senior Training Officer and Training Officer, focusing on training functions and talent development. Prior to Laing O'Rourke, Poornima served as Client Relations Manager at CanQuest Management Consultants and as Executive in Training and Development at Life Skills (India). Poornima holds a Master's in Strategic Human Resource Management from the University of Wollongong, a Master's in Guidance and Counseling from Mother Teresa Women's University, and a Bachelor's in English Literature.
